Full Moon Paddle

Full Moon Paddle dates vary depending on the day of the full moon. Call for information on the next full moon date.

Victoria Park
2 North Victoria Park Rd
Fort Lauderdale, FL 33301

Join us for the experience of a lifetime. We'll watch the sun set and the moon rise, and then paddle under the light of the full moon. Our focus for this trip is to enjoy the full moon's shimmering light on the water and experience paddling in the dark.

The Full Moon Paddle is one of our most popular tours. This tour takes place just once a month when the moon is full. We begin at sunset and paddle on the water as the moon rises above with our instructors helping guide you along the way. Glow lights and head lamps are provided.

The water is serene and mysterious at night. The intercoastal comes alive with the sounds of the nocturnal animals that inhabit the intercoastal waterways. The light of the moon glistening on the water is indescribable.

Be sure to reserve a board for this tour early. Space is limited and boards sell out fast.

$45 per person per hour includes lesson, tour with instructor, board rental, life jacket, leash, & whistle.

Stand Up Paddle Surfing

Location:

Lifeguard Tower 17
Ft Lauderdale Beach just north of 14th St North of Sunrise Blvd. on A1A

From the stars to the athletes, from the young to the old, everyone's catching waves in a new way. Stand up paddle surfing is taking the world by storm. Whether you call it SUP surfing, paddle surfing, stand up paddle boarding or beach boy surfing, you are entering a new addition to the waterman lifestyle. And, if you're tired of doing those crunches, it's a really good ab workout! "It's an excellent core workout. It's stability, core fitness; it's aerobics. It really covers all part of physical fitness."

One difference between the modern idea of surfing and SUP is that the latter does not need a wave. In SUP, one can paddle on the open ocean, in harbors, on lakes, rivers or any large body of water. One of the advantages of Stand Up Paddle Surfing is the angle of visibility. Because of the standing height over the water one can see both deeper into the water and further across the surface of the water, allowing better visualization of features others lower above the water may not be able to see, whether it is the marine life in the harbors, lakes and coves or the incoming swells of the ocean marching on the horizon.

Fort Lauderdale Stand Up Paddle offers paddle surfing lessons to people of all ages.

Price is $45 for 1 hour lesson including board rental:
